They don't heavy discount custom orders anymore. I can buy a custom order 2016 locally for the same price as DS: $500 +\- invoice.

That's the going internet price on an ordered truck here in the Houston area. Invoice less any rebates.

I too don't buy my trucks off the lot. It's been the same as you stated with all my ordered trucks be it, GM, Ford, and Dodge/Ram. So far, I've always made the best deal locally which I prefer.
