So is your new truck 4x4 or 4x2? I'm not as tall as you but I'm looking to make it easier for my wife to get in and out. I do know for sure the running boards are a must have.

These trucks are tall. I looked briefly at a 2wd and difference isn't that much. If I remember right, the difference in bed rail heights between the 2wd and 4wd was barely two inches. Either way, you will most likely need running boards.

So this morning at 3012 miles I dumped in the rest of my first 2.5 gal Blue DEF which brought it the needle back up above the full mark. So 1000+ miles appears to be where I am at currently with only two short test tows. Chris

That's what mine takes. 1 jug at 1/2, and 2 jugs if I run it down to when it's yelling at me to fill it. I typically only fill it up for out of state trips, particularly towing. Other times I just wait until just before it yells at me in the read and add one jug. Trying to keep it fresh, particularly when I was living in AZ and it was summer.

Congrats snoking on the new truck
I still have my 99 it lives in Fla and I am driving it right now. This truck is like a favorite t shirt.. Love the 99. Having said that when I bought the 13 in July ... I had all the same amazing experiences as you did.. I am still bonding with the 13. And loving every min I drive that truck to. My truck is black... Have not thought of a name yet.... Anybody have any ideas???
