I have absolutely no issues seeing anything in my mirrors. I'm not sure why some folks are having issues. Is it because they don't know they can be adjusted like another member mentioned a while back?

I haven't had any trouble either. I'm used to doing a "head check" on my motorcycle which has very small mirrors. So I do that in the truck too. Although sitting much higher in the truck, I can still see the tops of cars.

I've had no trouble in the regular or tow position seeing vehicles on my sides when adjusted optimally.
 
Well the mirrors when down have a blind spot for small cars. So!

I posted earlier in this thread, about adding these same spot mirrors. I added some to my truck. The way clowns drive in Taxifornia you need everything to be able to see. I really don't or didn't have a problem with just the stock mirrors, but I like the small spot mirror a lot.
