I sent this to my BIL who's not too far from you. I think he'll need new drawers though. He's been looking for a custom rig like this.

Wayne, I've seen this truck in person when we all used to get together for wings etc. here in Western PA. Hands down one of the nicest trucks I've ever seen. If your brother-in-law wants one, this is the truck for him.

Well then I guess I will put it all back to completely stock, soak the body in road salt for a month, and then sell it for that price. Just saying.

Kelley Blue Book maybe a good guide for dealers, but when you have a truck like this it is kind of like "collector" cars. The price is what someone is willing to pay for it. I have no doubt that this truck is worth the money. It seems that some only look at a Blue Book value, and not the "true" value or worth of a vehicle, or piece of equipment. Down the road I will be going through the same process of selling my 1995, 4x4, 2500 in immaculate condition with low miles, and I'm sure I will be hearing the same Blue Book value stuff. Good luck B KIRK with the sale of your very nice truck..

Sold the truck. New home is in New York, Buffalo area. Came down $1K off of my asking price. Happy with the deal. New owner loves it.

So now I am working on a 1st gen. Bought it several years ago really cheap. Standard cab, 4X4, bad auto. Body was shot everywhere. Been looking for body parts since I bought it. Not much luck. Found a complete 86 Texas truck, gasser, 2WD that wasn't running. Needed a fuel pump. Got a lot of pictures from owner. It's a Royal SE, so loaded. Typical paint peeling, but not a speck of rust anywhere. Got it cheap and had it shipped here in PA. So doing a body swap. Already bought a complete used billet Suncoast 47RH transmission and triple disc converter. Started on it over winter. Long ways to go yet.
