cruise control

I recently purchased a 2010 ram 3500 with 43000 miles. Just recently the cruise control kicks off and the alternator light turns on for a few seconds. After doing this i am unable to reengage the cruise control. Has anyone had a similar problem or have an idea how to fix this problem?

Check Codes - cycle the ignition key 3x and stop at ignition on. It will show the codes in the odometer.

Does this work with the 2013's? I have not had any success with it

Hold do I cycle my push button start????

I did here that if you hold the start button for two seconds it will turn the engine off while in gear! SNOKNG

Can't cycle the key in the 4th Gens for codes. Have your batteries tested, on all of my trucks, the OE batteries went bad around the 2 year mark.

After much thought and some driving I located the problem. The mounting on the brake pedal had shifted and that is what kept turning off the cruise control. Thank goodness Dodge will stand behind their vehicles and pay for the repair.
