Toyo's RT interests me because it is offered in the 285/75R18. One thing I don't care for is the relatively shallow tread, and overall I much prefer the design of the Nitto Exo Grapller, though there are less sizes offered.

I never would have noticed a shallow tread. I just want to get a tire with better grip than a normal all terrain and better mileage than a mud terrain. I guess I'm swinging back to the st maxx...I have some time to decide.

The shop I use here has installed many RT's from former MT users. The consensus of opinion is that they are much quieter and are very stable. No pull either way. No longevity results yet as they are too new.

If the RTs don't pull like the MTs are known to do, that is a huge benefit and improvement. I’d really like to try a set… in 285/75R18 ;)
