Weighed my 2016 3500 SRW CCLB

Ran my truck across the scale this afternoon.

Without me in it, low fuel light on, DEF full, tailgate on and spare tire in place..... 7,920lbs.

Weighs more then my 2004 2500 DRW converted truck

The new frame/suspension is heavy, as is the larger cab.

I think the scale I used is wrong.. Full tank, 2 people, little doggy, hitch, sprayed in liner, mud flaps, running boards.. Hit yhe scale at 8900 lbs!! Gvw is 12300...

dfb- Your scale was probably correct with the cargo you had. I purposely weighed mine as empty as possible for registration purposes. In California, I needed my truck to have an unladen weight of less than 8,001 lbs.
