I've wanted this filter but I'm afraid it'll slow the air flow down too much.

LLucas - I've read that it can be cut with a utility knife (carefully) or maybe you could use a dremel tool if you have one of those.

Don't use a dremel or a saw or you may have pieces of plastic going down to the fan.

A box cutter with a new blade is enough: the plastic is not all that thick. I didn't even have to heat it up when I cut mine. The replacement filter is Napa 4578.

MotorCity Mechanic has a video to supplement the instructions from Geno's. He also shows a dirty A/C core:

I also just installed mine. Was very easy to cut with a regular utility knife. The plastic isn't real thick and scoring it several times and you can get the blade through it pretty easy. Took less than an hour start to finish.

I did the hot butter knife trick I made the mistake of not cutting the hole large enough the first few times. I found the cover door tough to get to seat and it would fall off. Air flow doesn't seem to be effected all that much when the filter is clean. I think it was well worth the effort.
