Was wondering if you bought new letters or used the old ones. How did you remove them.

I used strong fishing line to "saw" each letter/number/badge off the truck without damaging the paint and then "goof off" to clean up the adhesive. People also use a 3m "rubber eraser" wheel in a drill to remove the leftover adhesive.

I removed the old letters and numbers and kept them.

To remove them, I used waxed dental floss as I didn't want to take a chance marking the paint with fishing line as I only had plastic filament line. It took basically 2 strips of dental floss per letter/number. Simple sawing back and forth.
Removing the 3M adhesive on the truck is simple. Lift an edge with a fingernail and lift gently while pulling back at a 45* angle.

Some residual adhesive remains on the back of the letters/numbers but it scrapes off easily with your thumbnail.
Cleanup on the door starts with a wet rag for the accumulated dust/dirt and Googone or WD40 for the remaining adhesive residue.

Stab, off topic but what psi are you running on the front tires? Looks low to me. Could be an optical contusion!

LOL! I think you caught that the first time I posted that picture last year!
I was still experimenting on pressures @ that time.....I'm running 70-80#, depending on load now.

I know I don't post a lot here, but if you like it then that's really all that matters. I think you would get a total different look and a better look if you took the "RAM" and the "3500" and brought the letters and numbers closer together instead of a theoretical double spacing. I also think the biggest difference would be if you raised them a few inches, put them above the line in the door they are now below. That would look more appropriate. As of now they look lost and too spaced. They look like the stick on things you buy at the auto parts store

You do know what they say about opinions.......

Higher up would mock the Ram 1500 emblems or worse yet, Chevy!
I tried a few different scenarios and settled for what I posted. I've had a lot of compliments on it.

I'm happy with it and Like you said...that's all that matters!
