A couple of other things you may want to look into is retrofitting the cabin filter and the tailgate assist shock.

Well so far I've ordered Husky floor mats and some running boards. I want to get a camper shell for this truck for part time when I travel cross country this summer. Any recommendations on a camper shell?

I ordered a Leer Camper shell for my new truck. You can find a lot of info about truck campers on Mike's website. He's a personal friend so if you are going to put a full Camper on your truck look here http://mellomikeadventures.us/author/mellomike62gmail-com/

I have not gotten my truck yet. I am still waiting for it (according to FCA it's awaiting shipment @ the plant in Mexico) If you want a Camper Shell look at Leer Camper Shells. http://www.leer.com/find-a-dealer

Good luck enjoy your new truck Got any pictures to post?

I just checked out his site. I like the format and the content and will be spending some more time perusing through it. Thx for the link.

I got the Leer model 122 and a Carpet Kit. $2769.12 total. Tax and installation. It's the same model that I have on my 1995 Ford F250, long bed. It would have cost $2569.12 but for some reason the paint job on this camper shell is more. Not because of the model of the shell, but the type of paint is why it's 200 bucks more. I will post pictures when it gets here. They are going to put it on the truck before I take delivery of the truck.

If you do not do anything else get a set of Blind Spot Mirrors, like Snoking said. Other wise leave it stock. What trim package did you get? I know you want to put all kinds of modes on your new 2500. But I say leave it stock. I want to do all kinds of things to make my truck look cool, but you know I read an article in a magazine where they were talking about doing modes of all kinds to a brand spanking new truck. At the end of the article the writer said, Remember if GM, Ford, Chevrolet, Nissan, Toyota wanted the power plants modified they would make the modifications an option. They do not want you modifying the motor the trans the suspension they would offer it as an option where they can make the money off the after market parts. Just a thought. The only real modification I am going to do for sure is to replace the 32Gal Fuel Tank. But I am going to wait to get it done, several months so I can get used to all of the idiosyncrasies, of my new truck.

I got the same blind spot mirror put on my truck the other day. I am now looking to get a Titan replacement tank. I also put my OEM Mud flaps I got from the dealer installed. Need to get off my back side a post some more pictures. Also had the windows tinted. Also added back up lights.

OEM Ram MudflapsLeer 122 Camper Shell
BedRug Carpet Kit.
28in. Driving Lights.
35% Driver & Passenger Windows
5% Limousine Tint Rear Doors and Camper Shell Windows
Blind Spot Mirrors.

An Edge CTS monitor. It's not a programmer, just gauges. No drilling or tapping into anything, it plugs in right under the dash.
Duraflap mud flaps. Hands down the best mud flaps I've ever bought. TDR members get a discount too.
Floor mats. If you live anywhere near salt or snow, stay away from the Weathertech mats. This is my fifth set of Weathertech mats and if they don't change for the better, it will be my last. Over the years and sets of their mats, their coverage and fit quality has severely declined.
If you frequently travel rougher roads, plan on replacing shocks not too long after truck purchase. Some here will argue, but the stock shocks are garbage.

These are all my opinions based on experience with almost the same truck you're purchasing. '14 3500 crew cab long bed 4x4

I've got the heavy Weathertech mats from 2006. Suckers are substantial and thick. The Weathertech floor liners do seem cheesy.

Mine came with carpet floor mats. They are so so, I have been thinking about getting a set of WeatherTech to replace the OEM ones.

I actually kept my weathertech mats out of my 05 quad cab... They fit prett well actually in the '14 crew... only real issue is the back seat mats are narrower due to the increased foot room on the '14 crew cab, but it keeps the crap from the kids off the floor pretty well even still.

I added things to haul the camper better.
So SuperHitch and tie downs.
Added SuperSprings and BigWig Sway bar.
Front hitch.

Also added bedliner and it has a 2'' leveling kit now.

Looking into LED light bars now and tube steps so I don't have to lift my 9 year old in anymore. LOL.

The thing has so much power I won't be adding any programer or touching the motor.
I personally am not adding gauges cause I'm sure the Ram and Cummins engineers did a great job.
