Just curious, how does Amsoil withstand fuel dilution?
Comparing it to Amsoil wil start arguments,
I too run Amsoil in everything I own except my lawn mower.
I'd gladly run Shaeffers if there was a local distributor. They have an excellent reputation.I prefer to deal with small companies whenever possible. They're the backbone of our economy and usually give you the kind of personal service that's not available with the big outfits.
I've found oil brand loyalties to be much like religion.
Well, the larger companies do package their oils under different off brand (walmart, carquest, etc) names. But the small companies that make synthetics do use different raw materials, different proprietary manufacturing processes, and develop their own additive packages. So you will pay more for synthetics from small companies. And you are paying for their small scale research/development, testing and quality control.
