Here is my new truck. Hope I don't miss the 8' bed too much. Now to BOMB it - cosmetic and options only. First "NEW" vehicle I've purchased. With the end of year sale it wasn't much more than a 2013 with 30,000 miles on it.

Warranty - how can I PROVE that I changed the oil, filters, etc as required to keep the warranty when I do all my own work?!? I'd rather not pay the dealer $100 to change the oil for me. I'm more than capable (am a mechanic myself - rebuild and restore cars). Are receipts good enough? What if I stock up from Geno's on filters and then use them as needed. Receipt won't show that it was purchased at the time of install? Someone must have a good idea for this.

My BOMB list includes simple and and more complex stuff: Mud flaps, 2WD low kit, toolboxes and headache rack or cap with toolboxes, backup lights, side lights, tint front windows, air system, air horns, grill removal kit, add block heater cord, etc.

Already started - not even 3 days old when I added running boards.

Made the wife a lot happier.

Keep receipts and write down the odometer numbers in the owners manual at time of service. I'm doing my own mice on my 2016 as well.

I agree with you I've done the same thing with my vehicles. Fortunately I've never had to prove anything but I originally was informed of this by a service writer friend.
Dan beautiful looking truck, the color reminds me of a '65 GTO my friends BIL bought new :D Enjoy!
