Looking at the notes I made when I bought the truck, I noted that oil changes are 15 K and fuel filters are 24K. But it seems most of the chatter on the forum has been to change the fuel filters at 15 K. Anyone know what it is for sure? At the cost of these filters, 24K would be much desired. I'm ignoring the EVIC since it's different with each reflash of the computer.

Per the manual it's 15k miles. The 24k is for kilometers. I purchased both filters as a set a couple weeks back from a Chrysler/Dodge dealer on Amazon for right at $93.

My fuel filter change minder always goes off between 10,000-12,000 miles. Never makes it to 15,000.... even if I drain the water.

What sort of places you buying fuel at Willis?

My counter is also synced to mileage. Going to be at 0 at 15k on the nose. About 2k of that is towing and 75% of the rest is highway.

I try to be careful buying fuel. I usually used the low price stations that have high flow nozzles. I figure alot of medium size trucks fill there. I never pull into a station that has a truck filling the tanks, because i figure they are stirring up debris from the bottom. Could be the himidity though depositing water droplets in the fuel. I use biocide once a year to kill critters. "Power Service Bioclean"

But then fuel quality is a really difficult thing to monitor

Changed the filters yesterday and was able to reset the oil filter gauge but not he fuel. My notes say to hold the right arrow to reset all and it moves to a screen that says "confirm?" but I can't get past that. Any idea on that? I know I reset it once before but it's not liking me now. Of course I'm the guy that didn't know the difference between km and miles when taking notes.

Don't feel bad I thought it was 24K on rear diff change. Its 24km my lube was past its life per Blackstone labs. My GL change was supposed to be at 15K OOPS!

On the early 2013s there is a programming error that messes up the fuel filter reset mileage. There is a flash for it. I had it flashed, but it didn't fix it. Mine was at 10% at 10,061 miles at my last change.

I just did oil change and both fuel filters a couple weeks ago. Whitewolf is correct. When the EVIC shows 'confirm' or 'ok', you toggle down I believe. (If not 'down', then it's 'up')

That's probably why mine is dinging early
