2011 ram 3500 code on p2002, I asked the dealer what the process would be if I brought the truck to them, his reply was that they would force regeneration, he also suggested that I should drive at highway speed for 45 minutes and my information screen would indicate that the truck is regenerating .My question is, this truck has 55000 miles and has never indicated regenerating, please advise.

A lot of stop and go and city driving doesn't heat up the exhaust and it won't start an active Regen under 45mph. It has to see speed maintained before it will start as well. Run it in T/H and with the exhaust brake on all the time, helps get the exhaust heated up and stay there. Drive it like you stole it, dont pu$$y foot it around. These trucks DO NOT like grocery getting, they like to work hard. The harder the better!!

my 2014 will regen at any speed other than park. I'd run 55 to 65 (even better). See this boring video of an actual regen. It will give you an idea of what's going on. https://youtu.be/9-QSlKxqyvQ
