This is just what I experienced from using gorilla juice tow. Rated weight is probably heavier than 85w-140 as even with being hot was still very thick. Below is what I experienced.
I got my oil today, drained to gj crap. When I did I noticed a smell that I have only smelt once before and that was when we drained my 77 fury transmission after 100k miles and having never been drained. The Gj was golden(I think) when I used it 8k miles ago. Today it was more of a maroon metal flake color. What I would assume (brass?). Drained it about 30 minutes while I tore apart shifter housing. Check CV boot and sealing. Poured in MD 50 7 1/4 qt. (Got distracted) and buttoned all back up. Yes I did use aluminum anti seize on the lower drain plug.
Attached is a picture of what I first see when I pull shifter housing off. Not sure what tech term is or if they are normal. Truck has always shifted relatively great unless in the city stop and go traffic light then it gets a little rough
