Need a recommendation for HONEST Ram 2500 service in Birmingham area

A friend is having SCR / DPF issues in Birmingham, AL area with a 2015 Ram 2500. Mileage is 120k.
Error is P20EE 'Catalytic Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1'

Any recommendations for an Honest place to get work done around Birmingham?

I don't have any info for the Birmingham area, but am wondering if this is the first time this appeared or has it been ongoing? Has he been to the dealer for it before? If it's the first time, they're probably going to reflash it, which will do nothing. Code and light will come back. Second appointment will be for them to recheck it out and set up a third appointment to fix it.

SCR can't be cleaned. It's a defective design and is under recall. SCR replacement shouldn't cost anything. Are they charging for DPF replacement? I'd have them do only the SCR under recall. (No charge). And see if that fixes it. They might be suggesting DPF replacement just to get $

Not that I know of. I had this same code come and go for about 30K miles. They finally replaced everything about 5-10K miles ago and I haven't had a problem since. Mine was all under warranty tho.

Mine was in two weeks ago with a code I couldn't find even online. DEFinjectors, SCR/DPF, cat converte,r everything replaced, no charge and I'm past three years. Figured it was all emissions, so covered. Took a trip I regularly take, up 2 mpg and it was into the wind.
