Trying to figure out how to fix a leak from what I think is an oil cooler fitting on the passenger side of the engine, is this a common problem? Its the fitting on the left. Thanks for any help.

Did you try to "snug up" the connection? Clean the suspected area with brake clean & start the engine to see if is leaking. You should be able to see the line/fitting seeping oil. Normally these lines/fittings do not leak.

It'll be a couple days before I can get back to it, it's pouring rain here.

Fixed the leak at the heat exchanger, put a barbed hose fitting in the exchanger, cut the hard line and put hose between the 2. Found another leak on the high pressure line on the power steering pump, put that on this morning and everything is dry as a bone! I thing that line got moved around when i rebuilt the vacuum pump, i told myself to replace it when i had it apart but i didn't listen to myself! Getting a new Mag-Hytec Extra Deep Trans Pan tomorrow so that's the next project for the truck.
