NTD's. Nozzually Transmitted Debris.......![]()
Not even a hint of corrosion on my caps after almost 2 years. This is the same cap I got for my 2014. Fits very well, price isn't bad and it's worth the piece of mind to have.
FWIW - I've read here, I think, that the fancy aluminum caps might look nice but are susceptible to corroding from the DEF so those are a no go for me.
Funny, I think it was one of your post Mr. SNOKING.![]()
Fuel caps are only 98-99% effective

No worries. I originally bought a billet fuel door from Genos. Problem is they don't fit the new dually fenders, so instead of trying to get store credit I opted for the aluminum caps. There pretty nice, except the fuel cap is a bear to get off when its cold out. I've lost some O Positive a couple of times. Still like em though. When I fuel the cap is usually covered in road grime, so I reckon it does some good. Spendy little buggers though.Hummmmmmm,,,,,,,,, read it somewhere. Thought it was here. Might have been on one of the RAM forums.
Been wrong before, could be again.
Sorry for the mis-quote.
Anyway, that is why I didn't go fancy. Didn't like the thought of pee corroding the nice aluminum.![]()

Without protection you could get a case of "the flap".
