Picked up a jug of this stuff and ran half the bottle through the 6.5 to see if it would explode ran about a 1000 miles 6.5 gas never ran better also the fuel mpg has went about 2 mpg will it remain that way ? I don't know but it does seem to be running better anyway I dumped the other half of the bottle in the 98 fuel psi has went from 5 at wot to 8 at wot which is about what it always has ran maybe even a little better than before I haven't changed the fuel filter yet I might run it awhile longer so it can ketch any junk that might be in the tank and lines

Since it contains cetane boosters the mpg increase would be expected. Is there a list of ingredients posted to see what it does to deal with water?

Higher Cetane levels actually lowers BTU's and fuel mileage, but increases spontaneous combustion which increases timing. The odds are this is all you're feeling and NOT a "clean" fuel system. :)

I can't say I really don't know all I know the 6.5 was getting 12 mpg empty gvw 8000 and I hauled a trailer the other day 16000 gvw and it got 12.98 on the same road I drive everyday

Tailwind.....? Lol.

All joking aside, I'm just pointing out how cetane works. :)

I honestly dont know ? Hey if we can't give each other a bad time what fun is it . So I ran the dodge again today fuel psi has improved a ton better fuel psi than I've ever had use to be when I'd hit wot psi would hit 6 now at wot 3200 rpm I have 8 psi

I read through the "specs" provided info the hotshotsecret.com website and cant seem to come up with any logical reason why this product worked mysteriously good for you other than I "think" what its really doing is taking the, or adding, a water like hydrocarbon molecule in the fuel and creating the same (but much smaller) affect as a water/methane injection system.

But I can say that I'd be leery of any product which you think was so amazing the first time you use it. Its either offering false hopes of long term results or you want to believe its doing far more than it is.....

I hauled a load to Phoenix this past week and watched my fuel pressure really close. At 5k-7.5k elevation my fuel pressure at WOT would drop to 8 psi, but at 3k-1k elevation it would stop at 10 psi.

Nick

I guess we will keep driving em and see what happens I really think my fuel psi problem is directly related to my gas in the fuel tank incident i put a couple gallon -15 40 in the tank and I think it gummed things up but it was better than losing a vp 44

Give This a whirl my fuel psi would drop to 5 at 2000 rpm now it's running 8 at 3200

Excluding all other variables like restrictions of the supply and voltage to the fuel pump and the fuel pumps ability to pump, fuel pressure is affected by fuel viscosity, ambient temperature, and elevation. So I'm not sure I'd be so wrapped up with a couple psi change based on fuel additives since fuel pressure isnt related to engines performance but rather the other way around. I'd actually be more concerned that any fuel pressure under 10 is destructive to the VP and/or the PSG,.....on the VP Cummins. So if you're talking another vehicle the disregard that last sentence. :)

Wel its ran for five years that I know of with 8 psi so I think I'll keep going the way I am

And, Edge Juice setting :) fuel filter condition, filter micron type (7 or 10), regulator setting if you have one, and maybe even fuel tank level?

I ran an Edge EZ and RV275 injectors for 12 years on the oem pumps and no gauge. When I installed the Juice with gauge, on level 2 (same as EZ) I only had 2 psi and on level 5 I had a big fat zero. So I installed a DDRP, on level 5 I still only had 3 psi. I used it for half a summer, then it went to zero at WOT. I now have a Raptor mounted on the block and it ran 10 all summer and 8 this winter. I have it set for 16 psi at idle. I am assuming it will go back to 10 this summer.

One thing I have always done with this truck is run on the top half of the fuel tank. As the level drops you can watch the VP temps creep up as the tank heats up. After fill up they go back down if the station has cool under ground tanks, if they are hot and above ground it don't help much.

I am at 296K on the original VP.

Its encouraging to hear of people who run their VP's on parameters outside whats considered "safe"..... Thats not meant in disrespect either but because I've been collecting information about this pump for the past 14-15 years and overall the data points in a general direction of what the VP can tolerate. But then there's plenty of scenarios which dont follow along and seemingly doing fine. :)
