Only two wires.
I'm having trouble with that, how does it create both the pedal at rest and pedal depressed which to me is what's needed for the safety start and cruise disconnect...02' shouldn't be intelligent enough to work with two different resistances??? Maybe???
Or is there a second switch not shown in the attached drawings??
And if it allows start when there is a connection but allows cruise without a connection why didn't he have cruise when he twisted the wires together???
Based on a two wire scenario.....
No the pedal needs to be depressed enuff to active the circuitSo just barely touching the clutch pedal allows a start???
So just barely touching the clutch pedal allows a start??? That doesn't seem very safe......
From what I'm see by depressing the pedal it closes the circuit and allows the engine to start
By depressing the pedal while operating the cruise control it turns cruise off so it's taking that normally open circuit and sensing it's now a closed circuit and turning the cruise off....so by jointing the two wires together it's always a closed circuit and not allowing the cruise to operate
No the pedal needs to be depressed enuff to active the circuit
