Have had many different diesels including Cummins over the years. I bought this one off the lot and have been basically disappointed since day one with it. It pulls good when towing something, but the other 95% of the time when not towing it sucks.
). Seats are horrible
). Sounds like a Prius, not a Cummins.
). No fuel cap. (Really!)
). Double flapper doors on the filler neck. (absolutely stupid)
). Have to manually shift it down in town or it's in 6th gear doing 40mph! (Huh?)
). Total sloppy shifts between gears.
). Throttle response and dead pedal are a joke (dangerous!)
). Has pulled to the right since new with stock wheels and tires.
). Shudders from a dead stop taking off.
). Has a vibration that resonates through the entire truck about every 5-6 seconds rolling down the highway. (wife even ask if the tires were balanced right)
). $50K for all of this. (ridiculous)
). What a total disappointment of a truck.
). It reminds me of a brand new 2008 Harley StreetGlide I bought off the showroom floor. $23K and you had to spend another $5K to make it run right. It disappeared too!
). Every time I drove it I couldn't wait to get back in my old 2005 Duramax work truck. (that's really sad!)
You guys can have these things. Not sure what you see in them................... I'm going back Duramax and never looking back!
