Local parts house does not carry the Mopar brands for the 2 filters 68197867aa and 68157291aa....They have Microguard and Wix...its funny those 2 have same part number WF10112 for the back filter...Not sure what the micron rating for those brands are...mine is 14 Cummins that is deleted and programmed..

Just order the Fleetguard from Amazon. If you pay attention, you can get them pretty cheap ($80-ish for the pair) and you know you are getting the right ones.

I use mopar or fleetguard only. Amazon has some cheap filters but instead of filtering to 3 microns they only filter to 7-12 microns. Do not buy these in the photo. Some reviews on these tell of filter failure. If that happens it would never plug. Sort of a filter delete lol. #ad

About the best price you will find for the "PROPER" filters. AMAZON

What is wrong with Geno's Garage.com? They are the site sponsor for TDR and provide the most complete part list for our trucks. They might not be the cheapest by a dollar or so but they do provide the correct parts for our trucks. All of the filters that are required are listed at the beginning of their catalog.

Geno's garage is the only place I order my filters from and usually in enough quantities at one time to offset the shipping cost.

I have literally bought thousands of dollars of merchandise from Geno's over the years. BUT when I can buy the two MOPAR fuel filters for my truck for $77 shipped to me on AMAZON it's hard not to since the MOPAR and Raycor filters combined on Geno's are $113.90 plus shipping it is a no brainer.

Alot of those filters are not of the same quality. If they are not in sealed packaging and labeled as mopar or fleetguard, your are probably getting off brand.

I'd still check that they are the real thing. Amazon got caught selling Knock off I phone cube chargers that were bad and caused fires.....

I have gotten the Athens Dodge fuel filters several times off of Amazon when posted as on sale on this forum. They do not look counterfeit and have all the correct packaging. If they are counterfeit we are in trouble as they would be very good counterfeits. But, who knows people try real hard to trick the system and i have seen some excellent counterfeit $20 bills that you would swear were 100% real. Has anyone ever confirmed Athens Dodge actually sells their filters on Amazon?

Does anybody think a licensed Ram dealer would allow a knockoff account in their name on Amazon? Amazon couldn't afford that sort of thing either.

The rear filter is manufactured by Racor, and here is the Racor number PFF54529. Marine dealers can source it thru their normal supplier chain. In larger numbers(case), I can, through a friends commercial account, get them for mid 30's each.

Athens Chrysler dodge jeep ram has the rear water/ fuel separator on Amazon by itself for $37.67 + $7 shipping. On Amazon

Apparently you can make money selling volume at that price.

I prefer Fleetgaurd....however I have to admit I'm biased since my business buys through the Fleetgaurd discount program.
I see nothing wrong with finding the best price on any particular product, however I agree one has to be careful to be sure the product is genuine. I have seen vehicle come back from the local Chrysler dealer with Federated filters instead of Mopar and I myself have purchased products on Amazon that appeared and claimed to be genuine but were not. In the end, it's personal preference on what and where to buy, just don't let a $37 savings cost you a $3700 fuel system.
