2012 3500 drw wiring problem

I'm a new owner of a used 2013 Ram 3500, everything has been good and worked.

But today, I attempted to turn on the diesel brake, the LED indicator did not come on, no icon on the panel, so I tried the tow/haul button, again no LED came on, nor icon, and the last button for the electronic stability control button did the same.
I couldn't see specific fuses pertaining to any of the functions so I'm uncertain of if fuse related. Any ideas before I take it to the dealer?
Thanks. Bob

Try turning the truck off. Open the door to allow the EVIC to power down and restart the truck. Its a glitch some of us have every once in a while.

Been here.....done this:confused:.......This is sounds like the problem I had with my 2014 truck, which FCA could never fix. Assuming it's the same problem, it's a bad news/good news thing. The bad is after throwing a bunch of parts at my truck and a lot of trips to the dealer, FCA never fixed it and gave up....which ultimately led to them buying it back. The good is that is there is a work around for the dead switches. Again, assuming you have the same problem.......Next time the switches won't work, lock and unlock the doors with the armrest switch and the panel switches should work again. This always worked for my truck. it sounds a bit nutty but it worked for me.......

Thanks guys, tried both suggestions but with no luck. Good to know about the dealer's suggestion, might help with the conversation.

Just an update: I did take the truck to the dealer, who was certain it was the set of faulty switches. He did order, installed...and still the buttons did not work. Then he checked for power at the switches and there was none. (I would have thought checking for power should have been step one??) Regardless, they followed the power to a corroded spring type connector, replaced the $1.20 part, charged for 3 hours labour and sent me on my way. All is working.

I used to get these gremlins a couple of times per month before I got the alternator recall done. But not since.

I used the same procedure described here. Turn off, open the door, wait a few seconds
