I cannot say for certain. If I am not mistaken, the bore centers on our wheels are ~ 4.773 inches in diameter, +/- a few thousands.

That is probably correct. Rickson's web site calls them 4.78". The 12k Dexter's are 4.75" so probably wont work.

Olde Bob, a trailer with 12k axles is a serious trailer so go ahead and spring for a spare, Lol

I'm sorry, Nick. I missed your previous answer... (duuhhh.. stupid me...) but, I read in the manual that the Ram wheel bore is 121MM, and I think that computes to just a very few one-thousanths more than 4.75...I don't wanta start an argument with ya, cuz U probly know more than me..

It's not that I don't wanta buy another spare, it's a matter of where to haul the darn thing.. The custom trailer mfgr. I'm workin with says it should weigh just over 5800, and a full load of Dow Styrofoam is about 6200, so my loaded trailer shoud weigh about 12K. But there is NO GOOD place to locate another spare wheel on the trailer that I can see...
WE plan to use ONLY one axle under a 48' trailer which is what we are doing with two of our heavier rigs, and it uts down on toll costs significantly up where we run. Every axle we pull thru a toll booth costs $$$$, and we go thru a LOT of toll booths...

OLDE BOB :) :)

When it comes to the new trucks I don't know very much, just what I read here, :) I was using Rickson's Web site for numbers since they manufacture wheels. If they are 4.780" and the Dexter is 4.750", that is .030 difference, I would think that is way too much to work.

Dang! One axle, that is cool and definitely a custom built/purpose built trailer. How much weight does the pin have? Is it a straight flat bed or gooseneck? Can you make a spare rack on the tow truck somewhere?

PS: Is the 121 MM the bore size of the wheel or the hub size? The internet :-laf says 121 mm equals 4.76378 or still a difference of (4.750 Dexter) .014 so still too much I think.

Got a limited in Pearl white, Will be ready to go Tuesday afternoon.
Insurance was cheaper than the GMC with Travelers. 664.00 a year for the Ram the GMC was 890.00 Im 70 and never had a ticket in 8 years and Knock on wood never an accident in 30 years.

I got mine that the MSRP WAS 77440 for 60999!. Over 21 percent off MSRP... 16,441 off....I thought this was fair..However, ours had 1400 miles on it. Congrats on your new truck...You'll love it...

Invoice minus incentives is a good deal. Lower the rear tire pressure to 35 leave the front at 80 the ride will be much improved. If it has an AISIN and towing 28K combined or less I would highly recommend the 3.42's. Anything over 4.10's are the ticket. My 4.10 tops at 103-104, my 11 HO Dually was similar with 3.42's. Look at the Laramie then LongHorn/Limited. I will take the LongHorn any day!

The difference of Longhorn vs limited is the Longhorn is a Cowboy Cadillac, the limited is an uptown version.

I like my crosshair grill but the flared nostril grill isn't as offensive to me as it was at first. I still don't like the huge RAM in the front and the billboard size one in the back is a little much for my liking but to each his own I guess.
A guy I work with commented how the Ram is the best looking truck when a limited 1500 pulled up with the flared nostril front. He's the type that doesn't buy just because of the brand and is currently in a '15 Chevy 1500, and a mid life crisis Corvette.
