Lately I am having trouble with trying to copy and paste valid links to products that members are searching for from Northern Tool and Equipment.....

Not always but a good percentage of the time the pasted link will take you to "Vigilink" instead of the product URL.

If I open a new browser session the same link pasted in will take me to the correct item so something is happening here within the TDR site.

I am running the latest version of Google Chrome.

Can you take a look and see if this is Northern Tool's issue or something within our site that is causing it?? Or it could even be operator failure on my part...

Viglink is an affiliate linking service the site (and tens of thousands of others) uses. It intercepts the link, then redirects the user to the correct destination page. If you're not getting redirected from Viglink to the correct destitination page... do you have ad blocker or redirect blocker installed on your browser?

No blocker that I'm aware of.

Did the link take you to the correct site??

Figured it out, you can opt out of the crazy.....

First off when the Vigilink page comes up you can skip and go to the site by clicking here....

Or if you want to completely stop the bad noise do the following....

That put a stop to it on both IE10 and Google browsers.

I think others have had this issue but I didn't realize what they were trying to describe......

Okay, it should be taking you directly without that page. I'll check into the Viglink settings and will get back to you so this doesn't happen to anyone.

If I understand Viglink's settings correctly, I think I've resolved it. Let me know if not.
