ParkSense Activation

Anyone know how ParkSense is activated when the truck is placed in reverse? Is it tied in to the transmission range selector, the back up lamp wiring, etc....?

It should be from the Range sensor to the PCM who then busses it out to any other modules that need it.

Thank you sir, that's along the lines of what I was thinking. Don't have access to a FSM so I figured I bounce it around here.
