Which kit is better than the other? Both of them look about the same, I know Yukon manufactures a lot in India and it looks like Spyntech is USA made. I have done searches here on TDR, a lot of the posts are several years old. Looking for some more current info on the kits. From Summit I can get the Yukon kit with Moog axle u-joints for about $120 less (because of free shipping and a $175 rebate) than Genos with the Spyntech and Spicer joints. Are there any Pros and Cons between the two? Im just going ahead and doing the conversion since I have to get in there and do ball joints, so I just want to knock out the flaws of the front axle and be trouble free. The main difference I can see is that the Yukon kit comes with warm hubs and Spyntech is $100 to upgrade. Thanks in advance!

Call spyntec they will match or beat anyone elses price. I've installed both Spyntec and Dynatrax and was happy with both. Spyntec offers a shorty hub kit which is about 1" shorter than the kit offered by Dynatrax. Should I do another truck I might give the kit from RAMMAN a try only because I would not have to modify my stock wheels.

After some more browsing on other forums, Im pretty confident in going with spyntec. It seems like a well put together product and seems like they have good customer service and stand behind it, that's a big factor for me. Im going to call Genos in a few days and see if they stock it and order from them.

If I had it to do over I would buy Spyntec. You should check if you need ujoint spacers with either kit and use them if you do. Iirc Spyntec needs them.

Hubs / lockouts. Warn is not what it used to be. I have Warn hubs with the free spin kit on the Dodge and Mile Marker's on a Jimmy with a Dana 60 and 42" tires. No problems with the Mile Markers, though it seems people like to bad mouth MM hubs. The Warn's rattled while driving. They are well aware of the problem and their solution is to recommend two flimsy retainer rings instead of one. Imo the thin flimsy retainer ring is too weak and flexes when the bolts are tightened. This theory is supported by the dished shape the retainer has when you take it out (to repack the bearings or whatever). Also, older hub designs that I've seen use a substantially thicker retainer ring which is less likely to deform. Unless Mile Marker quality went way downhill since they made the hubs on my Jimmy, then from my experience "upgrading" to Warn hubs is a total waste of money.

Anyhow, before you buy you might want to ask the free spin kit mfg if they ever have hub issues and if so what they are and what are the solutions to those problems.

Just my 2 cents, we put the Yukon kit on my dads 04 3500 DRW 2 years ago and have not had any issues with it at all, this part should be true of all kits but he saw around a extra 80 to 90 miles of driving on a tank of fuel after putting them on.
