p7100 pump idle screw adjustment screw

My P7100 pump low idle adjustment screw, top is getting a slit in it ,and when trying to adjust the idle, it makes it hard to adjust. Can I buy a new one?

Sure. It's just a bolt with two locknuts. Might be a pain to get to, but doable.

The one on my pump has a dome on top top of the bolt.So a plain bolt will work?

I have a pump in my shop that I can look at a lot easier than the one on the truck. I'm three days from home if you want to wait but I think a plain bolt will work. The other option is to call a Bosch repair shop. They might have them in stock.

I know it has been longer than three days, sorry. In case you were waiting patiently, the stop bolt on the pump in my shop is a plain hex head bolt.

Thanks, that helps me, tore a ligament in my wrist, so the idle screw is on hold for now.
