5.9L regular vs. High output - How do you tell?

I was shopping online and when filling in info on my truck (2004 Ram 2500, SLT 5.9L turbo) the form asked "regular or high output?" I looked up my vehicle vin online and didn't find an answer other than I have engine code C. I searched here at the forum as well and found no matches to my query. How do I tell which I have?

There's a sticker on the side of the plastic valve cover drivers side rear . I think the info is there

Mine's a High output it pulls Sequoia Trees out of the ground, used it as a tug to pull ocean liners to dry dock, parks 747's at the airport and if all else fails I believe it 's the C at the end of the VIN

If stock, the 04.5 will have 4” exhaust, the HP is listed on the valve cover to make a positive ID. It’ll be 325HP

If the 2003 and 2004 engines are the same, and I know the 2004.5 is the HO aka 600 engine, one way I found to be accurate is the fan shroud. On the 03, it’s a traditional plastic rad mounted shroud, and the 04.5 has a engine mounted ring/ boot/ rad shroud like bigger trucks have. Also, I think the 04.5 vin is C.

California ones blessed with a cat and less hp.
A co-worker special ordered his '03 5.9 SO and it came equipped with the last of the 47re's as I remember.

My 03 is a SO and has a 47RE.

I understand the H.O. versions also have Oil Squirters like the larger family members.
