Steps/ running boards Part number question

The other day we had a 4th gen Power wagon on board. The first thing I noticed was that his stock steps were much lower to the ground than the ones on my 2013. After doing some digging I've learned that there are two different steps one for the 1500 and one for the 2500-3500. The 1500 have shorter mounting brackets due to the truck being lower to the ground. It looks like my dealer installed the 1500 kit on my truck way back when. I'd really like to just get the 2500 mounting brackets only I'm coming up blank as for part numbers. Anyone here have a connection or a part number? The 2500 mounting brackets lower the step almost am full 3" wich would be really nice as I'm not as young as I once was. The part number for the full kit is Ram 2500 HD Accessories - Crew 6.4 Flash Chrome Bracket B - 82213616AB. I don't need the full kit I just want the mounting brackets.

Any chance you can't make a set of "drop" brackets out of some flat bar or such, to connect the existing brackets to the steps a couple of inches lower?

I could but then it'd look that way. I'd like them to look like they belong.

Wow No reply's. Ok I knew it would be a long shot to find an accessory part part number. I was very lucky to get a replacement step pad a few years back when mine broke.

You can see that there are different parts for different steps. You probably need to be more specific to get the correct PN.

I just ordered a used set of 2017 2500 boards on ebay. but I might take you up on the offer. or at least swap the brackets with you from the old set. let me get them off the truck next week and I'll give you a shout to where to send them.

Yes I just figured we could swap brackets. It would be cheaper on shipping and solve 2 issues.
