Anyone running Luberfiner LFP780XL full flow oil filters?

I am looking for the micron specs for the LFP780XL oil filter. It is an extended interval drain but I will be using them on 5.000 mile oil change intervals. Zoro.com has a 20% off and free shipping over $100 purchase. They list normally for $13.69 and with 20% off, they're $10.95. They also have the 5 micron Baldwin fuel filter.
So anyone have Yea's or Nay's about the Luberfiner filters?

That would be enough to scare me away. Saving a couple bucks on filters isn't worth it.

Well that's the $#!ts. So what's the general opinion about the Donaldson DBL7349? What's the opinion to it as opposed the the Fleetguard LF16035? Again, I am looking for the best filtration not extended oil and filter intervals.

The Donaldson is only $12.67 from filterspro.com, only $2 more than the Luberfiner deal you found.

DBL7349 15 microns absolute, LF16035 25 microns absolute.
If you are looking for the best filtering capabilities the Donaldson is the one, by a considerable margin.

I also buy mine through filterspro in bulk, as I also use this filter on my 67 Land Cruiser.

How does this filter compare? I don't savvy the beta ratio or nominal micron thing. I buy mine from Fleet Filter bulk, if I buy $200 or more I get 20% off the normal rate or $11.29.

Nick, I'm sure the Wix is ok (not great, but ok) for an oil filter, but frankly I don't trust them based on the info they post. If you notice, any reputable filter company will publish their absolute efficiency ratings, which is a more thorough, repeatable, and standardized test. Wix posts only their nominal ratings, this has been discouraged by ISO for many years due to the lack of repeatable results and lack of standardized testing. I suspect Wix does not publish their absolute efficiency ratings because they would not meet many OEM standards.
They're probably ok as an oil filter but I would not use their fuel filters on anything with expensive fuel injection components.

The Donaldson look like the way to go. I only wish they put the hex flats on the end for an oil filter socket. The third gens change out so much easier from the bottom. I can get a case of 12 DBL7349 shipped for $130

I agree about the flats, although that's only been a problem one time when I had apparently overtightened the filter previously. A few taps from the top and off it went.
