My truck is a 2016 with only 7500 miles on it. I'm taking it into the dealer next week to have a few recalls performed on it. I've heard they won't update any software unless you specifically complain about symptoms related to some TSB's. With that said, what else should I be asking for other than the water pump, tailgate, etc?

I figured I would ask for my first oil change as well. Let me know.

Some dealers will charge $30-40 for each update once you reach 3/36. I don't know if they can pick and choose. But mine needed 2 different PCM flashes and a BCM uodate and they wanted to charge me for any one of them individually or all 3 if i wanted all 3 done. Maybe it prompts them and they can cancel some?

When my truck needed a stationary regen, they charged me for one of the PCM flashes that they offered me a year earlier even though i was told by a retired Ram tech on this site that it should have been covered by the emissions warranty

The TSB's are only for specific complaints. Not all vehicles exhibit the symptoms described in a certain TSB, hence the reason they don't just do them all. If you have a specific complaint, you are better off to review the TSB section of the TDR and see if any apply.

Not anymore, they have changed the program now to you must have a complaint that matches the tsb

And at the Dealer level its carefully monitored. You must pick 1-4 reason why your flashing any module and theirs a comment box before the process to flash will begins.

I don't know why FCA has clamp down on this.
