Does anyone make one? Or have you guys made a custom one? Went wheeling (Very light) and had to cross a small creek (Azusa Canyon)

This was about a month or so ago but I canged the oil today and I had a dent in the oil pan (scary in my eyes). I don’t trash my truck, and it only has 7k on it.

Please let me know what you guys use as far as pan protection, attached is a picture of the damage.

There is one for the trans and transfer case. I put one on my 17. It was like $40 and came with the bolts. There was certainly some confusion at the dealership as to what parts I needed. They said I would need some cross member. However my truck had a cross member so I just purchased the plate and it bolted right up. Unaware of anything for the oil pan however it might be worth looking at a power wagon model, it might have one and it might be able to work on the diesels. Also and probably more likely may very well be one aftermarket

I think your best bet is either to make your own or have a local fab shop make you one.

And, I would fix those scratches as soon as possible. I can hear your pan rusting from my house.

Haha, funny! I will see if the power wagon ones will work, if not I will gab some up!

Man, I LOVE your plate! How do the greenies like that?

No easy drain plug for me! I actually like the low profile stock design.

No issues changing oil, NO MESS.

Someone on here said the Fumoto is protected by the axle in front of it. We just let that comment rest until now and have photo proof that it really is protected by the axle.

, I had a piece of metal fly up and punch a hole in my oil filter on my motorcycle once and I've been very very cautious since then stuff happens. I also saw it happened on a Toyota Camry.

I looked for the photo I once had, (Can't find now) the Fumoto was hit and it pushed up and bent the Pan, the owner purchased a bolt and use it to pull the pan back to its original spot and reused the Fumoto.

Its this simple if you drive off road , don't use the Fumoto or any valve.

I've seen enough road debris in highways freeways to make my own decision about not using a Fumoto.
My neighbor had something puncture his oil pan going 40 mph on Alton Road in South beach. Granted it was a cheap 4 cylinder japanese make with a thin metal oil pan. But still it was information to digest.

I see your point, and its in the area IMO of personal choice.
