Of course no talk of the range or recovery time. I wonder how Tesla feels about that sitting in a charger spot?

Range 300, 400 or 500 battery.....cost ???? recharge ????? But as sure as there will be a tomorrow...I hope...electric vehicles will replace our fuel driven ones just like they did horses...

TFL did a video on it. They are touting some numbers that sound too good to be true. I just don't see it on a truly large scale any time soon. Did the government have to subsidize folks changing from horses to gasoline?

I believe the Government subsidize or incentive to purchase a Electric vehicle are disappearing sometime soon like this year or next.

There is a big debate on IVR2 Forum on this subject with the millennials and the lefties out in the far left of the planet are shouting to the high heavens of the benefits of a EV trucks for towing. I say B.S. to that.

Why? How are you going to charge the battery in the truck in less than 20 mins? This is what it takes me to fill up and pay for my diesel fuel in a truck stop. The ability to fast charge a battery to last for 300 miles of charge just does not exist to do this in 20 mins or less! Will a campground allow you to charge the truck and provide a charging station for said truck and who is going to pay for several charging station in a campground to allow charging stations these aren't cheap! What will be the cost of charging this truck I can guarantee it will be as much as fuel cost are today. Nothing is free.

As far as being environment friendly that is another myth that the lefties are pushing. The EV's are not. You have to mine the materials that make-up the batteries and this leaves a lot of environmental issues do to mining and disposing of the battery after the battery is no longer capable of holding a charge. Than you need to generate the electricity at power stations. Do you want a nuclear plant next door or a coal fire plant polluting the air. Not all electrical power can come from water generation or wind driving generators for all of our needs.

When electric charging stations are everywhere as are gas stations and you can recharge in five minutes they'll have a product.
I'd love to have an electric for urban use but driving through 405 looking for a recharging station isn't going to happen.

I cant imagine (in the near future) being able to tow 35k lbs anywhere close to even 300 miles unless the bed is filled with batteries. That sucker would be HEAVY and "fast charge" would be in the eyes of the beholder. Some day though...
