Millennial Job Interview

A "Ram" Before I Knew It

Not sure what it is yet. My wife's knee. She saw something on tv.

I see add's on TV and wonder whats worse the actual problem or the side affects of the treatment thats being used to treat it.

IMO go get an MRI and get it fixed. My right knee (before being replaced TWICE) I had Arthroscopic surgery to trim a torn meniscus lasted for somewhere near 10 years. It felt so good that I abused it and finally it was bone on bone. Scripts Hosp. in San Diego was doing the Stem Cell at that time they offered to preform their treatment WITH NO guarantee as to its effectiveness. I had my first knee replacement and was back at work Passing Gas in 4 months. The Doctor wanted me to stay on disability for 6 to 8 months (I told him where he could stick that idea) I again didn't learn and abused that Prosthetic until it was worn out and replaced again. It was 5 months on that disabillity (Mainly because it was in Hunting season) and the extra month was spent hunting & packing game and supplies in & out of the Bob Marshall in Montana.

Just to let you & others know that its up to the recipient of a replacement. The prosthetic can ONLY be installed in a couple of different ways, the final OUTCOME of any replacement is up to the recipient. IT HURTS MORE THAN ANYTHING I'VE EXPERIENCED BEFORE OR AFTER. If a person thinks they are going to have it replaced without doing the P Therapy THINK AGAIN!!!

I lived with very serious knee pain for 20 + years. I blew my knee out in football in the late 60's in my junior year of high school football . I had it repaired playing football and than wrestled my senior year in high school wearing a brace. Fast forward to the 80's when I coach junior high and freshmen wrestling team at our local schools. When coaching my younger son caught my knee in a move damaging it again. Oh well! That's the story.

Now, I lived with this limping and using everything I could to relieve the pain in my knee joint. I finally went to a one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the area. I did had my knee examined and replaced three years ago, I have never felt better. My only regret is that I did not do this 10 to 15 years earlier. We tried the shots but he said that they only work in about 10% of his patients, but lets try just to make sure. The shots did not work in my case.

My wife has had her hip replaced by the same surgeon two years ago and she feel like a new woman now. We both walk a minimum of three miles a day at one time doing about 17 min miles.

My advice is go find a very very very good orthopedic surgeon and have them evaluate the knee joint. Ask around and do a google review on them see how many surgeries that they have done, talk to the Doctor. They can do wonders and do not listen to the quacks on TV trying to get your hard earn money.

Trust me Knee Pain and Knee surgeries are No Fun .Right now I am Knee Jointless . the Doc had to remove my artificial knee joint because I came down with a Infection that went from my Ankle Straight up into my knee within a Day's Time .I went from Walking to Not being able to even toe touch without Pain in 1 day . After 2 More Surgeries Doc Finally said We have to remove Knee Joint or Insurance will say Take Leg .I told my Doc I'm Not ready to try and find a redwood to make a Leg out of so I said let's take Knee Out and go from there . That was May 14th 2018 Living in a Wheel Chair at My Size STINK'S .But Ankle is close to being healed and I will Be Walking here Soon. Best bet for knee Surgery is find a Doc that know's what the Heck they are doing and go from there. When I get Knee joint back this will be 27th surgery and I still have to have Right side Redone . UGH.
