I have a 2017 2500 Big Horn that came with 18" wheels and 275/70R18 tires. I have an opportunity to buy a set of stock 20" wheels with 285/60R20 tires mounted on them that came off a 2018 2500. They seem pretty close in overall diameter. I assume they bolt pattern is the same between the two. Other then the speedo being off, are there any other concerns I should be aware of?
Thanks,
Kevin

It's only a 0.9% difference, so nothing to worry about.

Here's a calculator that I've found to be pretty handy to use:

https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=285-60r20-275-70r18

I've thrown around the idea of different wheel/tire size, (315/70-17" on mine) but I want tall like what I have now, but maybe less width. I'm not seeing a lot of choices in the 20" or 18" yet. I will probably try a 285/75-17" next time around.

They will bolt on just fine and like big hammer said, no speedo issues with a minimal change in size.

big hammer - I changed from the stock 285/60/20 to 285/65/20. Taller and same width, looked better too!

Next time you have to buy tires, you may wish you had stayed with the cheaper 18" tires. If you want to change something, find a set of 18" Laramie wheels which are the best looking of the lot. SnoKing

Thanks for the info. I really didn't want 20' wheels but the combo was a pretty good deal. But I checked and 20" tires are way more expensive. I will re-think my purchase.
Thanks,
Kevin

Like I said the 18" Laramie wheels and the best looking of the lot. SnoKing

Ride quality will suffer along with your wallet when replacement comes. I don't get the move to 20's. Lot's of metal and rubberband tires to boot.

OK, the 20" option is looking better to me. These are narrower but still tall as my 315's and these prices aren't bad either.
