yes I understand what you mean by toad the deflection of the truck bed however the truck bed is pretty pretty strong on the Dodge I think that it would not be a problem in the end but who knows you never know I don't think it will be technically technically speaking pulling an RV down the road is is a is a is inefficiency at its worst so who knows what will really happen I have a question about tow haul mode does it lower your shift points or higher your shift points on the aisin transmission with the 410 rear end??????????

Tow/Haul raises the shift points regardless of rearend ratio. It also allows for a lot more aggressive downshifting and exhaust brake action.

Personally I use the exhaust brake on full on all the time. TH is a little too aggressive for empty normal driving most of the time for my taste.

Well guys been running the rear tires at 47 and its bumpy but not brutal, is 47 enough for a pin weight fifth wheel of 2800 I have the graph that was posted the other day and I think it says 47 should be fine for 6000 to I think 6800 pounds I think the Jayco wet will be most likely and with some stuff 3200 pin weight.............THANKS TO YOU GUYS I WENT DUALLY BECAUSE THE SRW WOULD HAVE BEEN TOAST as far as pinweight.

Get the CAT Scale app for your phone, and it will give you locations near you. Weigh your combo, find a parking spot to unhitch and put the truck back on the scale, and ask for a re-weigh. Now you know your empty axle weight, truck empty weight, gross combined weight, pin weight, trailer axle weight, and trailer gross weight. All for <$20. Make notes on the scale ticket with how the truck and trailer were loaded with fuel, water, passengers, etc. Carry the scale ticket in your console, and keep a photo of it on your phone for reference.
Or get fancy and install their Weigh My Truck App, and receive it all electronically. It's like an arcade game:D

Stewart,

did you get an auxiliary fuel tank yet? If you get the 100 gallon one, don't forget to add the 800Lbs of fuel and the weight of the tank. What are you looking at?

Cheers, Ron

I have mentioned several times 35psi is MORE than enough air even with my HEAVY B&W and tool box loaded.

Simply look at the load/inflation chart!!!

But hey keep having a rough ride if u want.

no I have not gotten a auxiliary fuel tank yes yes I would like to get a hundred gallon auxiliary fuel tank but I don't know how to put anything like that and I don't have that kind of skill there's a place I think in North Carolina called Roadmaster or something like that and they all they make like expeditor trucks and what do they call that hot shot trucks and I think they can put a fuel tank in a hundred gallon fuel tank I don't know I'd like to get a hundred gallon fuel tank somewhere but I don't have any mechanical ability to put it in.

32 gallon tank leaves roughly 26-28 gallons of fuel without running dangerously low. Assuming 10 mpg, that's a minimum of 250 miles in between fill ups. More than the average bladder can take. I get enjoying the opportunity to price shop but unless you live on the road it's gonna take a loooong time to recoup those costs.

I have a tank at home that I fill when seasonal prices are at the lowest and pay what I pay the few times a year I'm on the road.

I have an eight foot bed so space is a plenty.

NOT really. Basically you won't be putting a tool box behind the hitch and the 100 G will not leave much if any room in from of the hitch.

I HIGHLY advise traveling for a while without anything but a 5 THEN decide if you really want that much weight and space loss.

I pack a 5 in my 30" front to back bed height tool box and have needed to use it ONCE.

I hate to inform you guys we got a big problem with the dually guess what the left airbag is leaking we hooked up to the brand new jayco northpoint 377rlbh today and everything went good and the Anderson was good and everything was super-duper nice only problem was it wasn't leveling out and we found out that the left airbag was leaking so now we going to have to wait out for 5 days for the Dodge dealership to install the new airbag on the left side and hopefully that will take care of the problem and they're all because it's such a new truck this is definitely not usual so I'm out of the truck for five days isn't that nice.

I was not even able to take the RV from RV outlet USA in Danville Virginia and take it home so it's sitting there for the next probably the Monday or Tuesday and then hopefully we can get it fixed and I can take the RV out all right guys welp stupid stuff happens and stupid stuff does it's no fault of my own it's just a defective product I guess
