I highly recommend the Milton s506 air chuck. Easy to use and works for everything. Classic tool.

Milton Air Chuck

Yep, and I replaced chuck part with longer one. Airing tires: BIG BUBBLES, NO TROUBLES!

Extension (ALL METAL): Note, I changed the angled chuck off the air filler and swapped it to the extension.... purrrfect for filling inner dual tire.

Also helps to have an air compressor to pug these into. EASY PEASEY if you have 110VAC outlet in that top end truck (read as less expensive) or 12VDC full duty 12VDC, portable.

Anyhoo, Stewart Skywalker, the FORCE IS WITH YOU!

OK sounds good to me I thought there was a extension that would tie the inner and outer wheels valves together so we could have balanced air pressure on both wheels????
I'm turned off by them...if the plumbing fails. you have TWO flats, possibly ruined.

When I had my 09 4500, I had extensions with separate fill mounted to the hub cover. Some road debris damaged fill tubing to inner dual. You lose one of your duals towing heavy, you can FEEL it. I pulled over, discovered the problem, removed the plumbing from both inner duals, filled flat one back up, and never looked back. That's also WHY I ran higher pressures on.my duals, so they could independently carry the load to a safe place.

While on the subject. recommend getting a 20ton hydraulic bottle jack and a couple jack stands for SAFE tire changes on the road.

Cheers, Ron

DON'T touch the valve stems! They work great. Simply get a double ended tire pressure gauge and air chuck!

Since you saved all that $$$ you can now afford the best 5er friendly tool box. HighwayProducts bed height 30" front to back. OH and while you are at it have them add the Pucks so you can get a non folding hitch as shown.

Is that the hitch you have where you can lock the handle open and drop the fifth wheel on your bed.

No thanks I’ll take the Andersen

I am going to make a video of my daughter installing the ultimate 5th wheel connection in the Dodge ram 3500 this will be good let me tell you guys it shouldn't take her more than 3 minutes.

Guy at work is researching 5er hitches. I asked what he came up with the Anderson on internet review.

He doesn't know much about 5er's and is completely unbiased, but he knows to stay as far as possible from the Anderson just based on what he found online.

I still for the life of me can't figure out why you would use that product, let alone sell it and feel good about yourself and others safety.

The stainless braided hose came off and caused a inner flat. The issue was weird, I stopped at lake Topaz in the Sierra's, at the Comifornia/Nevada boarder, to rest (sleep) before the final leg of the trip towing my new to me 05 Arctic Fox 5ver home, after purchasing it in Oregon. It was 5* Fahrenheit (-15* Celsius), and when I woke and left, I had a weird vibration. I inspected everything the best I could in the dark, even pulled into a closed service station and used the security light to see both sides. I just went on my way and as the weather warmed up dropping in elevation it went away. When I arrived at home my inner dual had gone flat and was destroyed, but still intact. I never really knew what caused the vibration, I'm guessing it was a frozen inner dual from being flat parked in 5* weather. I will never install anything like that again. BTW, with a 54 gallon tank I didn't have to stop for fuel, so I never knew.

Tthanks yeah I just drove it 60 miles and it rides rough I think I tried to lower the tires to about 50 maybe 49 obviously I can easily go down to 45 I'm going to go to a place like no tomorrow and I'm going to guys that I respect and I'll have them balance out the tires the rears make them 45 but yeah it's not brutal like at 80 psi but man it's not as nice as that single rear wheel was at 45 TSI.
My RPM on the interstate was 2050 RPM at 75 miles an hour give or take a couple a couple of RPM with overall omigod the adaptive cruise the stop the automatic stop on the front there was actually a road construction in somebody slow down really fast in front of you and man it did everything it took care of business so I'm very very happy with it so all right I'm going to see if I can get those tires tomorrow down to about 45 at a reputable guy who can do something like that I don't have I can't get under there it's better if it's if you take the wheels off most likely however we do it.

1800-2000 RPM is the sweet spot for the CTD, its why I never liked the 3:42 rear diff. The Aisin and 4:10 rear diff is going to make it a workhorse as well as have power on demand. Congrats, you realize you were all over the place on this purchase, but you came to your senses. :D
