So, you sought the company of another man when you were lonely? Zing!

Oh yeah, uhm, codes after Aisin fluid change.....I can't help here.

It will be figured out my Son!

So whoever said they could RnR those bolts without lifting the trans I now see how it can be done! AWESOME!!!

GS your idea on the Loctite spray was a good idea to hold the gasket in place. We masked off the inside of the pan so the spray was only on the pans gasket surface.

I have done two trans HALF AZZ services on my 15 with zero codes or hard shifts. Biggie is to let it run in park for a bit then neutral then drive to neutral to reverse.

We measured the exact amount of fluid removed then once buttoned up added the exact same volume.

"KING" did you check fluid level once you made it home?

I added the remainder of the 9th quart.

I realize you have no friends, and I am so sorry for you. If you had been there I would have bought your lunch and beers also.

Code was low fluid pressure. No buggy, just reset it.

YUP, lunch was good! I have a shop with a nice concrete floor that the "KING" doesn't have. It's a great time getting together and talking about all the "lonely" people on the TDR. :cool:

@Cummins12V98
Next time....simply determine which side of the gasket will be on the pan side.
After wiping down any residual transmission fluid from the gasket, lay the gasket down on a piece of cardboard.
Apply the spray adhesive to the gasket itself......no masking off of the pan is then required.
Allow Adhesive to get a little tacky.....then place on pan, making sure all the holes mate.

@SnoKing
What fluid did you go back with????? ASRC? 3309? Other? :eek:

Sounded like pan and one side of gasket needed to be sprayed let tack then put together? He had a new gasket.

Maybe I am not understanding what yer sayin.

After re reading looks like you reuse the gasket and only spray the one surface. Correct? I assumed it was a contact adhesive that required two surfaces to be sprayed.
