Air Temp Sensor on 91 12 valve Why?

Turns out, it was for the air temp sensor on my 91 12 valve non intercooler engine. The black wire for the sender is not hooked up to anything? Ground? Big pappa!

None of any of this is on my truck. The only thing I have is the sensor, and I have no vacum or compter!

THe other wire is tan bud. Question, got it running, now more oil leaks anywhere, thank god. But I am running the high pressure piston lift pump, with the justin fonder spring mod it only has seven pounds of fuel pressure. One thing I did big papa, I messed up. I doubled the size of the return line holes in the spring loaded return banjo bolt. I need a new one right? Truck doesnt idle the way I like it. I also need to clean my injector nozzles, has never been done since 91. 257,900 I know that was gonna be your next question.!

If you have a VE pump that wire should go to the KSB. It advances the timing on a cold start and helps with the white smoke on startup. Mine is a remote mount (note between the injector lines) 1990 180 hp/457 tq, cpl 857.
