On my 09 2500 the intermittent wipers don’t work. The constant low and high speed wiper functions work properly.

When I turn the switch to any of the intermittent settings the wipers cycle once but no more until I switch to one of the other settings . Then they cycle only once again.

Has anyone had this problem and found a fix?

So I just "fixed" my wipers on the 04 by taking the motor off and cleaning the contacts. Now they work on all settings and do not do a "multi wipe". Does the timing for the intermittent wipers come from the multi function switch? I don't assume the motor for the 09 would be the same.

I just looked, and it is the same motor. I will have to give that a try. Did you take the motor apart?

After you get it out of the truck there is a plastic cover with tabs that hold it on to the motor. Carefully pry them back to get the cover off. There is a rotor with 2 contacts in the cover. The motor has 2 traces that these ride on to make contact when rotated. I cleaned them up with sand paper and put new dielectric grease on the traces. Still not sure if that would fix your issue. If it is the multi function switch I believe you can replace that without taking the whole steering wheel off. Again that is talking from an 04 perspective.

From your description it sounds like the park function works on your motor, that's why I threw it out there to see if the multi function works the different delay times.

Replace the motor and linkage, it is due and the usual problem when the intermittent doesn't work.
