Getting ready to have a front end alignment done. I searched but couldn't find them but I have seen revised alignment specs here for 3rd gen 4x4 front ends. Thanks

FWIW, I have the original Y type and before my allignment, my Castor was 4.2, which I think most trucks are set to at the factory.
They set mine to 5.2 (the high end of the spec) and while the truck is VERY stable at speed and has excellent return-to-center, it also want's to turn away from the crown in the road a lot. I need to put some towing miles on it to know for sure but at this point I'd rather he had just set it back to the orig. setting. It's not a huge deal but I think I preferred it the other way.
I don't know if castor effects the T type steering as much (I would think so).

Thanks Prairie Dog. I thought there were some that were better than the stock settings. I want to be able to give the tech the specs and ask him to set them to the settings proven best from the guys here.

Are the settings in alignment shop setting books or are they in the shop manual, which I don't have

Any alignment shop worth anything will have the specs needed for your truck.

The way the toe changes with suspension movement is why stock settings works best on Y type.

I never did change my 05 over either. Why fix what ain’t broke.
