Outbags USA Holsters

Lots of people still moving around in the Phnx. area. So I understand the hiking trails are still open, the Grand canyon is still open.

It is pretty dead in our area but construction work is deemed essential work so, both boys are working. My oldest is a pipefitter and works downtown in the city at Navy Pier building a hotel. My other son is the one we worry about more, since he is a plumber that works for the state at the DOC Statesville correctional center. The center does have the virus outbreak and per last night there are 12 in the hospital with the virus and 77 other who might have it with one inmate that has died so, far. He does not come in contact with the inmates but they do breathe air. He does have a mask a N95 but it is one the only one that has been issued to him last week so, he has to reuse the mask when he is working inside.

One more essential business in IL that is open is the Marijuana dispensaries for all of the pot heads that need their fix. Go figure!

My wife just listen to the "TODAY" show and they stated that 17 stated have not issue any shelter in place order, as of 1 April 2020.

Here in Colorado we have statewide shutdown except for essential businesses but the list of essential is quite long. Weed shops and liquor stores are considered essential though at first at least in Denver they weren't but within 2 hours they changed them to essential. Gun sales are still happening at least at some places not sure about strictly gun stores though. They did shutdown sales completely a couple weeks ago for a bit but are opened up again when this first started ramping up as the background checks got so far behind they shut it down I think I had heard that the CBI was backlogged on 23000 checks but again they are back for sale again now. While you may be able to by a gun popular ammo is not in sight anywhere that I have been to such as 9mm, 45 etc. Restaurants are pickup and delivery only. Many of the delivery places no interaction they just leave it at the door. I am considered essential and have a letter in the truck stating so that I can show to LEO's if I get pulled over but so far they have stated they are not going to be pulling people over to check.

My wife volunteers for a place called neighbor network she takes clients to doctors appts, grocery store stuff like that as they are too old to drive or cant drive disabled etc well they shut down. She had a few long time clients that she, well I am now shopping for since I am out everyday anyway. She gets their list gives it to me I stop on my way home from work get the stuff she separates it out at home and drops it on their doorstep, keeps her and them out of the stores which is good since she and them are in the high risk category.

Gun sales were locked down at first here in wash. But they're reversed that to make it an essential business much to the anger of seattle

HA HA HA HA if the liquor stores were told to close in indiana I can GUARANTEE there would be riots

Our dear, sweet, governor (from the side of Chaotics) here in Virg. declared state liquor stores an essential business. Why? If alcoholics go into detox, they'll take up hospital beds that would better serve victims of viruses and other calamities.

I guess you didn’t read my post on the 30 day waiting period for any firearm purchase. Just cause the store is open doesn’t mean you can buy what’s inside.

Bummer!

walked into Sprauge’s in Yuma with a SD license and walked out with a very nice like new “rifle” that rattled around in a Cruiser that same day.

Different everywhere ya go.

Liquor sales are up 40% nationally according to a piece on the news the other day. Uncle Sam gotta pay for this lifeline somehow.

I feel for all the guys and gals out of work over this. Nick, this is just opinion so take it for what it's worth...what you are doing is trying to make a living, not out socializing or whatever. And you don't have to be in close proximity to others. Since the order doesn't directly spell you out I'd be inclined to proceed with buisiness as usual. I would like to believe in the very off chance you were actually pulled over an LEO would have enough heart to turn you loose. I've seen in the local paper a few people in Ohio getting slapped on the wrist for violating the stay at home order but they were also up to no good.

Good luck Nick.

Thanks JR and Mike,

That is what my oldest son said to do, so I scheduled two loads of cinders for a contractor. Transport, construction (cinders) and agriculture (poop) is on the essential list. Other than essential activity (food, fuel, parts) I stay home. It is not hard, that's my normal MO anyway.

See if you can get something on letterhead from the essential businesses that you supply that your business is essential to their operation.

Sure is confusing. Federal, state and local all have their own rules.

MI is on a "stay at home order" and the county where I work (same county as the city of Detroit where the sh1t is hitting the fan) has their own rules as well. I have a letter from my employer which I figure shifts the risk of miss-classification as an essential employee on to them. If I understand it correctly my employer needs letters from our essential customers that we are essential to their business. All of our local suppliers (pipe, valve and fitting guys, electrical supplies, etc) are open with curbside pickup or no signature required deliveries. UPS and FedEx are still delivering. There have been rumors of enforcement, but as of yet we have not heard of anyone being stopped and questioned.

We have been under the stay at home order going into the second week. Noticeably less traffic this week compared to last week. Many people who are on the roads in the afternoons seem lost and confused. People pulling u-turns in odd spots (typically no one makes u turns at all around here, let alone in random places on two lane roads), putting blinkers on (just using the blinkers is unusual, lol) only to turn them off without turning, driving way under the speed limit?? Lots of people out walking or bicycle riding when its not raining. Strange times.

Our UPS & FedEX are still delivering they drop the package at the edge of the drive close to the house and drive off before customer is allowed to retrieve the package

What I have noticed is the mail is really slow. I sent a check to PA two months ago and it took 3 days. I sent two checks to Texas in the last two weeks and one took exactly 8 days and the other one is still MIA.

Its why the U.S. Postal Service AKA snail mail is going under IMO in this age of GOT TO HAVE IT NOW, 3/4 days is often to long of a wait
