Brand new 2020 won’t start

Brand new truck 2020 3500 has 210 miles sat for @ 2 weeks will not start batteries are low charged them still no start anyone have any ideas besides taking it to the dealer?

Have you disconnected and load tested the batteries? Something is most certainly wrong as these trucks can normally sit for 2 weeks and start without battery problems.

It had a service fuel filters message, now not there, But has service anti skid and service rear electronic stability system now. I did drain and refill the fuel filters with no success other than not having that message It’s a push button to start truck it starts to crank but the starter kicks out immediately

If battery voltage drops off they won't start, and low voltage can cause all sorts of random codes. I'd be surprised if it was anything other than batteries. Was the fob in or near the truck while it was sitting?

Yes to the fob. Drivers batt 11.5 passenger 19.5 will charge over night and check um in the am suspect the passenger side is tango uniform

I am no expert by any means, but I have been told to keep the fob out of range, so the various modules will sleep. Once you have good batteries, be sure to have cycled to the run/on position multiple times with foot off the brake to purge air after draining the filter canister.

Thanks will put the fob into an ESD bag as the truck sits <50 feet from it

I recently avoided the pain of having the batteries drained in my 2017 Ram 5500 Laramie. My wife decided to put her FOB in the upper glove box so she wouldn't forget it for a trip we were going on. I just happened to look for something and found it. I splained to her not to leave FOBs in or around the trucks.

If my truck is going to sit more than 3 days I plug it into a trickle charger. 2 weeks is too long on these new trucks with all the modules.

As an obligatory off-track excursion, when we were looking at Subarus I discovered that their fob RF could be turned off, so you could lock it in the car, if necessary.

After charging the batteries all is good Put the battery tender on it conducted an experiment left the key fob out of the ESD bag over night the tender was in charge mode the next morning. Put the fob into the EDS bag and the next morning the tender was in float mode. Fob lives <50 feet from the truck Thanks for all of the assistance

Thanks, but no... I never leave keys in the truck and the fob is a key. Just educated my wife to not keep in the truck. Old habits hard or impossible to break.

Probably not a bad idea putting on a trickle charger, but after my surgery, my 2017 Ram 5500 Laramie sat for several weeks without starting. My wife had a 2013 Cadillac SRX and was assigned 175 miles away for work for 3 months. Unfortunately, I didn't start it for over a month... the battery was so drained it could not be charged. Cadillac came to the house and installed a new battery. Lesson learned. When we travel, I have trickle chargers for everything and keep the LRE plugged in all the time.
