Mine have generally taken closer to 8 weeks. Your salesman can check build status, but once it goes on the rail the info is not as good, it seems. You can also call or chat Ram customer service once you get a VON or VIN number.

Vehicle Order Number. The dealer gets that as soon as the order passes all the edits. VIN gets assigned just before they are scheduled to build it.

comrade - congrats on the new truck. i bought a 18 2500 new. the finance guy was pushing very firmly to add the extended warranty into my loan. i said no. figured i could buy the warranty at 35,999 miles before the bumper to bumper goes away, and i wouldnt be paying interest on the warranty being wrapped up in the truck purchase. so, thats what i did. bought extended warranty significantly cheaper too just before 36,000k. max care factory warranty... just my .02 cents. cheers comrade!

from what i understand, its a factory backed/based warranty. different than say, carshield, which is a non related 3rd party company who is in business to deny every claim... max care is very specific on what IS covered. and you stay inside the dealership network for repairs, dont have to go to independent shops. ( which is opening a whole nother bag of worms ) the pushy finance guy was trying to sell me the extended warranty for over 3 grand. i got the warranty for 1500. plus i drove the truck for 3 years before spending any money on a extended warranty. another reason i waited for 35,999 miles is why have 2 warranties on a new truck? ya know? cheers!

You know you can have yours “enhanced”.

I’ve done lots of mods over the years and the 55 gallon tank is in the top 1/4 of the list.
