I got everything disconnected from the turbo and I got all four bolt broke loose from the manifold but the turbo still won’t come off. Any ideas of what I’m doing wrong?
Exhaust manifold, exhaust pipe. Intake hose, air outlet. Oil pressure feed line, oil drain line. Electrical connector. Cooling water hoses. That should be it.
If your doing a full swap you could get away with pulling both as a whole. If your doing just the turbo I would do like you plan and gently warm the flange and base then give a few good whacks with a rubber mallet. If you have a prybar you could get it in between gently like and try to hammer that to get it to break free.
Also make sure the drain line to the block is removed also.
