Found a good source for the HALLA A/C compressor

My daughter’s HHR had one of those “chambers” in the manifold line. I was told by a buddy of mine that’s been a parts man at GM dealerships for 40 years that it’s a “muffler.”

Connector looks like standard issue Mopar with the red locking bar and release tab on the rear..

It just comes with a long zip tie, was hoping that there was a mounting tab or something....I'll see if I can come up with something crafty to mount it with...

GOOD, double sided foam tape works well if you can get clean surfaces to stick to.

Just had a really crafty idea....

Looked up the A/C clutch connector on the Mopar site, here is a shot of it....cut the number off but it is 05017117AA.




Then pounded that Part Number into Google and Voila!!

Hmmm... The GM one I got a few years ago had a couple of bolt hole tabs on it. I just used self tapping screws to the plastic inner wheel well on a Yukon.

It is not the same connector. Check the ears.

Will have a look this weekend if time permits. It probably won't get serviced until next weekend....wanted to do it with the oil filter off if possible...

You should have good access from below, the oil filter is above it.
I just was under my truck for some maintenance and watched for it.

I have the right inside fender plastic off on a Job I did today, replacing a froze up AC compressor, condenser, receiver/drier and all the lines. You can get to the plug real easy with the fender well out.
So, Are you saying the deslugger module is NOT a plug and play? I want to put one on the 2006 I just did all the work on.

I think it will be plug and play, just can’t prove it yet. Too many other projects today, but will try to get time by this weekend. The worst I can see is MAYBE having to trim one tab on the male plug...
