I have the Sync 3 with factory Nav in my 2018 F150. It works very well, but the maps were literally out of date when the truck was delivered. I believe that there is an upgrade available now or one coming soon, but quite far behind google maps, waze, etc.

I do like the Andriod Auto and the ability to drive Waze directly through the factory screen however.
I like the Fords as well they had good offerings for a little bit now..

My '19 GM the map thing is not impressive.

If the little 2500 display had the waze or Android auto would be all set.

I don't know if my family ride even has those options. We don't drive it far enough to use it. And the only highway driving is like 7 miles from our exit up to the next exit every once in a while.

I said I was going to go low key on the family ride, next thing you know its loaded and has twice as much gadgets as I said I would get... but the 2500 is really basic but I like it just the same if not more at times.

"I’m sure @Cummins12V98 will approve as it has 4.10’s, rear air, and MoPar 30k hitch."

All but the MOPAR Communist Chinese Made hitch!

Insane, that price for a Tradesman.

I’ve been told the Cummins block is cast in China.
I’d like to believe that’s not true. Did do a little research and it may be true . Still hope that’s not the case

Nope... Its casted in Brazil by TUPY and possibly at their Saltillo Mexico plant also. They cast CGI blocks for MANY different manufactures, You could call them the masters of CGI casting. They have been casting for Cummins for some time now.... Like a long time.

Although I’ve never ridden in a Tradesman, IMO the seats in my 2014 Laramie are terrible compared to some. IMO my sons Bighorn cloth seats are far more comfortable , same with my Ford Superduty with cloth seats . Nothing to brag about with those Laramie seats .

My Laramie seats are more comfortable than any other truck seats I’ve been in. They are the ventilated ones thou, maybe that makes a difference. They are noticeably more comfortable than my dads ‘17 BigHorn and my brothers ‘17 F-250 XLT.

We did test drive a ‘18 Longhorn Sourhfork and the seats felt the same but the covering was different. The leather on that truck was softer, too soft actually. It felt like it would rip if you got in/out wrong.

Zero complaints about the seats in my truck, but lots of compliments. I’ve even done a couple 750 mile days towing and feel great at the end, unlike my 05.

Good to see others do not want to sit on an apple crate!! We drove a couple Tradesman's while shopping trucks.

Maybe if you didn’t have a case of “Gone Ass” you’d see that the Tradesman seats actually sit fairly decently.
Foam was getting a little weak on my 2014 3500 Tradesman at 360k miles, but far from an Apple crate. Current seats in the 4500 are at 238k miles, and although vinyl, are not broken down.

The fabric seats in my 2019 Tradesman are fantastic. I did five 1000 mile days in a row in them in April and it's the first truck I could do that in that didn't make me feel crippled at the end of the day. I don't put on gsbrockman kind of miles, but I spend a lot of time in the truck and the seats are one of my favorite things about my truck.

I just went in to Build & Price and checked everything it let me for a Tradesman Crew Cab 4x4 DRW. Got an MSRP of $75,160

If you take a little more time, build the next level the same way and compare... many of the popular features are packaged or part of standard equipment of the next level.

I wanted a Limited but the pricing was higher than I wanted to spend so when I ordered my 2019 3500 MC Laramie I added all the stuff the Limited comes with and saved about $9 grand. Other than headlights, badging and some interior bits my truck is as loaded as a Limited... I call it a Larimited. There was no vehicles available that had my 2 main needs.... No Sunroof and No RamBox.... Very pleased with the new rig.

An offroad site on Facebook mentioned the abundance of 2500's in the used truck market. Lots and lots of young guys in debt up to their eyeballs on those models that just walked away when the CCP virus bankrupted the world. Kind of a specialized young guy product but there out there for peanuts.

I had a 2014 Laramie Mega Cab . Leather seats they were pretty good although they never did smell like leather . Flash forward 2020 Longhorn factory ordered 3500 Long bed Hd Aisin SRW and too many other options to bother mentioning .. Have had the truck since March. Pulls a house down, the seats are the most comfortable I have ever had in a truck and most cars iv'e owned and the truck actually smells like leather when you open the door.

I have ridden in a Lariat Super duty, I hate to admit it, but the seats were quite soft..

The reason the Southfork seems softer, is because its real leather. Only Longhorn editions and Limited trucks have REAL leather. Laramies have I guess you could call it, pleather.

I'm quite happy with my Limited seats, especially the center console is soft for the elbow. I also condition the interior once every 3 months. Never realized how MUCH leather is in this truck till I first conditioned it. My OCD also kicks in where every inch of my seats gets cleaned and conditioned...
