Best price for max care

I've got a 2018 , bumper to bumper warranty will expire soon . Have been quoted 3,200.00 for additional 5 years max care with 200 deductable , 85,000 miles . Only have 20,000 miles on it now . Checking to see if this is a reasonable price .

I bought my Ram in Jan of this year from Browning Dodge in Norco, Ca (southern Ca) and they didn't give me the factory warranty option, only 3rd party extended warranty even tho I asked about a factory plan. Once i found out about the Max Care I canceled the 3 party warranty and called:

I went with almost the same as plan sag2 has, 8yr 125,000 and $100 deduct, but the best price i could get was $4100. after the fact. After the dealer pulled that 3rd party warranty stuff on me, I dont think Ill take my truck back there for any repairs, so if anyone has any recommendations for a stand up dealer with a good service department I would appreciate it. Im in the high Desert area 40 miles north of Ontario CA. Southern CA.

Genuine MaxCare 8/125 with a $200 deductible... I paid $2850 for it from Chrysler Warranty Direct... Dealership wanted $3800 for it.

When I bought my 2020 I researched the online sellers. Att is what I found. My plan may not be what you are looking for but my data rates them by the price.
The listed sellers sell the same Chrysler warranties, just at different price points. None are selling third party policies. I should add that Chrysler Warranty Direct often has discount specials on top of what is in my data.

Wait, lifetime on the power train? I was told no policies went beyond 125,000 on Maxcare. Or 8 years.

Lifetimes were discontinued approx 2017. Bumper to bumper was never available for diesels. He said, for the powertrain, totally different policy

Not that it matters much but Lifetime Maxcares was available to purchase through Nov 2018. Was only for gassers as you said.

We purchased the Lifetime Maxcare on my wifes 2019 Ram 1500 5.7L in Aug 2019 $4200 with 5 years oil changes/tire rotation and balancing. Maxcare used to be offered for Cab and Chassis's too, but discontinued also. Guess FCA was losing money on those.

Rob...I too am looking as I bought my truck from Hunter out in Lancaster. Seems to be a good dealer but too far for me. I've heard Fullerton Dodge has a great diesel tech that has been there for years but have not tried them yet. Going to go when I need an the oil changed along with the fuel filters.
On topic I bought an aftermarket warranty but want to go with the maxcare from chrysler.
I should have done more homework on this but found out I can cancel the one we purchased.
