Hey guys I’m looking for the factory harness plug for the 7 way trailer hook up. Needless to say the truck I’m building had a botched up chassis harness. I found another new oem harness but it didn’t have the factory 7 way in the harness I bought, so I will be adding it to mine to make it oem. Also was anyone aware the 06 beds will not fit a 07 tail light??

I made the assumption that you have an '07. So these results are for that year...

Select your year and platform (DR) for the Ram Trucks...then wade through them. The 7-Way connecter I have posted here is all the way to the bottom of the connector repair kit listings.

Also please open the .pdf under the picture below, that gives more detail...

06’ has separate bulbs for turn and stop lights. ‘07 had combined stop and turn functions as I recall with the bulging tail light lens. You should be able to change the tail light units to match your ‘07 wiring. I can’t imagine they retooled the tail light openings between those two model years..

A unique feature of the ‘06 is the headlight unit. Only year of the newer style front fender with a separate marker light. ‘07 and up do not have this...

I knew about the 3 bulbs with circuit board vs the 2...but the studs that go into the bed are actually different. The only option I know of is to drill the bed for the plastic grommet.

I wonder if this comes with the terminals and the housing? What I was gonna do was find a truck with the factory 7 way in a junk yard and just cut the plug and splice it back into my harness. There is a red and green wire that run to the main plug I will pin into the main connector at the drivers front wheel and run to the back in conduit.
